This grandfather of all people-skills books was first published in 1937. It was an overnight hit, eventually selling 15 million copies. How to Win Friends and Influence People is just as useful today as it was when it was first published, because Dale Carnegie had an understanding of human nature that will never be outdated. Financial success, Carnegie believed, is due 15 percent to professional knowledge and 85 percent to “the ability to express ideas, to assume leadership, and to arouse enthusiasm among people.”

He teaches these skills through underlying principles of dealing with people so that they feel important and appreciated. He also emphasizes fundamental techniques for handling people without making them feel manipulated. Carnegie says you can make someone want to do what you want them to by seeing the situation from the other person’s point of view and “arousing in the other person an eager want.” You learn how to make people like you, win people over to your way of thinking, and change people without causing offense or arousing resentment. For instance, “let the other person feel that the idea is his or hers,” and “talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person.” Carnegie illustrates his points with anecdotes of historical figures, leaders of the business world, and everyday folks.

Batman Cartoon 1968 – The Joke’s on Robin

In this shorter episode, Robin suddenly becomes clumsy with the devices in his utility belt — thanks to the Joker! When, thinking he must be overworked, Robin decides to take a rest, Batgirl steps in to help Batman, and the two of them are promptly captured by the Joker. He ties them both up in the giant gears of a clock mechanism, set to mesh…and MASH…at midnight! Some voices: Batman: Olan Soulé Robin: Casey Kasem Batgirl: Jane Webb Narrator: Ted Knight (2 years BEFORE “Mary Tyler Moore”) Joker: according to different sources, either Ted Knight as well, or Larry Storch (who received no on-screen voice credit) TVLand once stated that Olan Soulé voiced Batman on Radio in the 1940′s, but this is in dispute. TVLand has been known to make mistakes. We do know that Filmation’s voice of Superman in their 1966 cartoons, Bud Collyer, DID voice Superman on Radio in the 40′s.

Censored Cartoons

This is the Censored Cartoons video that I had on my old channel before it got banned. Surprisingly, this one never got removed. This was originally made on January 20, 2008. I don’t remember the day it was originally uploaded, though. It couldn’t have been long after. It was probably the same day, actually. This was originally made as a response to Zigzad4ever’s “Random Cartoons Cesored” series, but for whatever reason, he never accepted it as a video response.
